The van's floor

I fixed the floor of the van with some plywood and cover it with carpet.

Working on the van

With a grinder, saw and a little bit of patience, the van ended up looking pretty clean.

Siding work for the new windows

I did some siding work with Bo on the new windows we installed in the master bedroom.

Ford E350 Super Duty Van

I got an E350 Super Duty Van to make the trip to San Diego and be able to transport the new BMW Motorcycle back to Portland.

The Van was from the Animal Services at Multnomah county, so it was well maintained, but it had the cages in the back and a strong animal odor to it.

License plate holder broken

The license plate holder on my bike is broken. It is apparently a very common issue on this BMWs.

Fortunately, I found the part number online and I order it from MAX BMW Motorcycles:

Veggies from my garden

We started getting some veggies from the garden.

New motorcycles

Juanpa already has the motorcycles stored and ready for our trip to Baja.

Today Lito and Greg went to pick up the new motorcycles.

Tattoo

Since I came back from San Diego, I have been thinking of getting a new tattoo. I finally designed one that I like.

Day at the Oregon Beach

I went with Julie for a relaxing day reading at the Oregon beach.

The garden

The garden was pretty crazy when I came back from San Diego after a whole month of growing without trimming. Bo was taken care of watering the garden while I was gone, and he did a good job!

Back in Oregon

After work we took off and made it pretty late back home in Oregon.

Hotel in Reeding, CA

We worked from a hotel in Reeding, CA before taking off for the final stretch home.

 

The hotel had WiFi and it worked pretty well, but the town totally sucked. I didn't even find a good place to have lunch at.

 

Also, the pups were not comfortable.

On the road again

I took off from San Diego the night of the 3rd and drove straight through the night.

The pups, already used to the car, slept all night.

I kept driving until I had to stop to work for the day.

At the steakhouse

We went to a cool steakhouse where one cooks his own steak. It's fun and the place has a pretty cool 70's retro vibe to it.
